1. Inquiry & Booking
We’ll discuss your vision, location, styling, and session details. Once the details are set, we can schedule a date on the calendar!
Booking: reserve your date via the calendar link; a 50% retainer holds the spot, the balance is due before gallery delivery.
2. Session Day
Relaxed guidance with natural movement and genuine connection while having fun!
3. Gallery Delivery
A curated online gallery filled with timeless, heartfelt imagery will be delivered to you via your private client gallery link. You can download your image set from there.
Turnaround: your private online gallery is delivered within 2 weeks — usually sooner.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
First Time in Front of the Camera?
You're not alone. Most of my clients tell me they're nervous before their session and worry they won't know how to pose. The good news is that you don't need any modeling experience to create beautiful photographs.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident.
- Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in and relax.
- Trust the process—even if a moment feels candid or imperfect, it often becomes a favorite image.
- Focus on each other rather than the camera whenever possible.
- Most importantly, come ready to enjoy the experience.
Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?
Absolutely. All delivered images include a personal print release and may be shared on social media, used for announcements, holiday cards, and other personal purposes.
If you're booking a professional headshot or branding session, your images may also be used for business websites, marketing materials, and professional social media profiles. I simply ask that images not be altered with additional filters or editing and that Lily Borak Photography is credited when possible.
Can you recommend a location for our shoot?
Yes! I'm happy to recommend beautiful locations based on the season, lighting, and overall feel you're hoping to achieve. I've shot locations throughout the Denver metro area, including Arvada, Boulder, Golden, and surrounding Colorado locations.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Colorado weather can be unpredictable. If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for photography, we'll simply reschedule at no additional charge.
When will we receive our photos?
Your professionally edited gallery will be delivered online within 2 weeks of your session. You'll be able to download, share, and print your images directly from your gallery.
